Meet Our Founder & CEO
I’m Joann — a proud military wife, breast cancer survivor, and mom of two amazing boys.
In 2013, while pregnant, I learned my youngest had a life-threatening condition with a 20% chance of survival. Thanks to an extraordinary medical team, he’s thriving to this day and that experience drives my mission: to help those who care for others build financially strong, independent practices that support their families and create lasting legacies.
As Founder of MedPro CFO, I lead a team that provides fractional CFO and accounting services to private practice owners nationwide. We go beyond basic accounting to deliver strategic financial leadership, cash flow clarity, and scalable growth strategies tailored to the realities of today’s healthcare system.
With 20+ years in finance from billion-dollar health systems to family owned outpatient clinics, I’ve helped organizations build sustainable operating models that improve cash flow, increase efficiency, and drive long-term growth. I started my career at PwC, hold dual degrees in Accountancy and Computer Information Systems, and am a licensed CPA in Florida.
As a survivor, caregiver, and advocate, I understand the pressure practice owners face. That’s why I’m committed to helping clinic owners gain financial control, protect their independence, and grow with purpose.
